Editorial Advisory Board

The Shanshui Magazine editorial and advisory board is composed of artists, scholars, and curators who share a deep commitment to fostering cultural dialogue between China and the world.
Their combined expertise supports the magazine’s mission to rethink the role of landscape, ecology, and aesthetics in the contemporary artistic context.

• Chen Jinzhang 陈金章– Senior Advisor; Painter of the Lingnan School, Deputy Director of the Lingnan School Memorial Hall, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts.

• Lu Yizhong 陆一中 – Art Historian, China Academy of Arts, Hangzhou, China
• Jiang Shuzhuo 蒋述卓 – Theory of Art and Literature, Jinan University, Guagzhou, Shantou University, China
• Hu Jiang  胡江 – Artist, contemporary Chinese mountain and water painting, Jinan University, South China Agricultural University, Guangzhou, China
• Liang Jiyong 梁基永 – Scholar, collector, calligrapher, painter, art appraiser, qin player and historian, Chinese University of Hong Kong
• Wang Dongsong 王冬松 – is an Associate Professor and Vice Dean of the Academy of Fine Arts at Huaqiao University, specializing in Chinese and Eastern art history, with over 50 academic papers (including 10+ in CSSCI journals), monographs on Tang Dynasty painting color and Song Dynasty painting’s rational spirit, and expertise in cross-cultural art dissemination.

Together, the board works to ensure that Shanshui Magazine remains an open platform for dialogue — where traditional wisdom, artistic practice, and contemporary thought meet to explore new forms of cultural and aesthetic sustainability.
