Abstract
A tribute by Wang Laiwen to Wang Eryi, a Tibetan painter from Gansu and dean of the School of Fine Arts at Huaqiao University. In three parts it discusses his expressive landscapes shaped by north-western culture, his lianhuanhua serving overseas Chinese communities, and his recent small-scale ink-and-colour works.
