Abstract
A presentation of the Italian artist Pierpaolo Curti, whose sparse paintings of bridges, doors, paths and mountains, dominated by greys, use emptiness to invite an active, contemplative viewer. Mountains, painted from memory after long hikes, have become his main subject; the text also introduces his installations and videos.
