Page Range : p.48-65
A first-person account of how a brief period as a Buddhist monk in Thailand led the author, untrained as a painter, to create a series of ink “Buddhist self-portraits” in 1987. Combining meditation with spontaneous painting, he used the letter B as a form evoking a seated meditator.
