Abstract
An interview in which Giacomo Bruni talks with the aesthetician Paolo D’Angelo (Roma Tre University) about globalization, environmental aesthetics and landscape. D’Angelo discusses the development of Western environmental art, the Western idea of landscape as presupposing a separation between humans and nature, and what Chinese mountain and water painting may offer in comparison.
